Lap-a-thon

Lap-a-thon

After having a wet start to the week, we finally had lovely sunny weather for the lap-a-thon. The primary aim was to raise awareness about National Water Week, reflect on how we use water in our lives and how we can make difference to ensure water is used wisely.

A portion of the money raised will be donated to a water charity and the remainder will be used to benefit our students’ learning. All students from Pre-Primary to Year 6 participated on the large oval with enthusiasm and lots of energy. There were lots of happy faces challenging and supporting each other.

Thank you to the parents and families who came to support and participate in the event. A very special thank you must go to our wonderful teachers and staff for their support and for organising the students in such an efficient manner. At the end of the lap-a-thon, all students were rewarded with an icy-pole, kindly donated by Mrs Visioli. Sponsor money now needs to be collected and handed in by Friday 3rd November. Top three fundraisers will be announced after that date and all students who collect money from their sponsors will also have a chance to win a prize in a raffle.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
