Last week Spearwood Primary School had a special visit from the West Australian Police Pipe Band. At 10am students sat expectantly as the band marched into the undercover area playing their bagpipes and drums. We listened to them some fast and slow songs. The drummer was able to drum very quickly. During the performance some of the teachers got to do the Hokey Pokey. At the end the band members took their instruments to the classes and talked about their instruments and their special uniform kilt and sporran.
