On Friday 6 December, students from Years 1-6, with good standing, earned a reward excursion to Fremantle. We attended the Spare Parts Puppet Theatre to see an amazing show called ‘The Little Prince’, a classic story originally by Antione de Saint-Exupery. We were dazzled by a beautiful light show as the Prince travelled through the stars to explore. The puppets were amazing and we loved seeing the display of puppets in the foyer.
Thanks must go to Spare Parts Puppet Theatre and the generosity of the Feilman Foundation Schools Inclusion Program who made this excursion possible.
After the puppet show, we walked to the Shipwreck Museum where we saw 400- year- old relics (not Mrs Freckelton), cannons, part of a shipwreck and a skeleton. We also heard of mutiny and piracy with the Batavia story. It was a great day and thanks go to Ms Irving and Ms Derbyshire for organising it.
