The kindergarten children have been very fortunate to have Police Officer Sam And Police Officer Chloe from the Cockburn Police station visit us today.
We learned what the role of the police officers in our community involves, how to contact them in an emergency and why they are so important for the community.
We then got to make our own hats and use the police stickers to turn each student into a junior officer.
The officers then showed us all their equipment, turned on their radios and took us out to see the vehicle. All students got to sit in the front seat and have their picture taken. We even got to watch the lights and sirens.
