Some of the Year 3 to 6 students represented our school at the Cockburn District Interschool Athletics Carnival last week on Tuesday 22 and Thursday 24 October. They participated in a variety of events including: jumps, throws, races, relays, and team games.
Our small school performed extremely well, gaining places in almost all the team games and placing 4th. The students displayed great sportsmanship and supported each other throughout the day.
We presented very well with our beautiful red and white uniforms, school banner and marquee, all funded by our fabulous P&C.
The weather was perfect and our small team of supporters cheered us on from their wonderful position under the shady trees.
A huge thank you to everyone for your support, especially to the teachers when I required some students to squish in some training.
